			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.boomartwork.com" target="_blank">BoomArtwork </a>recently created the logo artwork and packaging design for DrNo Effects, a range of vintage guitar effect pedals. Eric says &#8220;It has been an absolute pleasure to work on this job as I always love to mix graphic design, custom lettering and illustration. This project had all of these elements. I started by doing some rough sketches, and created six different vintage styles, one for each guitar effect. Within each artwork, I tried to reflect the sound and style of the effect. I created custom letters to make every effect unique and special. Finally, I placed the sketches in Illustrator, traced them and added colour.&#8221;</p>

<p>As I&#8217;m a guitar player myself I have to say these vintage guitar effects are truly amazing and really take you back in time. But I guess this goes without saying as Alain Johannes of Queens of the Stone Age is one of the many users of DrNo effects. The effects are produced using the best components and materials available, and every stomp box is 100% handmade by DrNo himself. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Working mom Julie Corbett was shocked by the amount of plastic jugs and cartons her family produced on a regular basis, and decided to do something about it.</p>
<p>Inspired by the Canadian milk pouch &#8211; a clear lightweight pouch placed in a reusable carafe – Julie decided to create a bottle that used a lot less plastic to provide a lot more sustainability.</p>
<p>Her eureka moment came in 2007 when she opened the box for her new iphone, and it was nestled on a smooth, yet sturdy molded fiber tray. Having found her ideal material, Julie imagined a bottle her children would love to use and could easily hold and pour. She designed a bottle that combines a sturdy outer molded fiber shell made from cardboard boxes and old newspapers with a thin inner plastic pouch and re-sealable cap.</p>
<p>With a bottle prototype in-hand, she showed her children how to pop open the shell, pull out the pouch, and place the separate pieces into the recycling bin. She knew she was on to something when they immediately wanted to do it again! She patented her technology and in May 2008, Ecologic Brands was born.</p>
<p>Today, Julie and the Ecologic team are committed to giving consumers and brands better choices and replacing shelf after shelf of rigid plastic headed for landfill with a new kind of bottle that has better things to do.</p>
<p>The first customer testing the new Ecologic bottle is<a href="http://www.strausfamilycreamery.com/"> Straus Family Creamery</a>.</p>

<p>The Tirol has hosted the TirolBerg for the past ten years, maintaining its exclusive presence and asserting itself within highly competitive global travel industry.  Emulating the luxury that goes with VIP treatment, the new winter 2011 TirolBerg invitation pack applied Burgopak’s patented slider mechanism to present to recipients the very best in design and presentation skills.</p>
<p>A dynamic and versatile format, the slider design provided the Tirol Tourist Board with six panels to use for brand communication. As well as holding the TirolBerg invitation, various parts of the pack were used to illustrate additional information on the event and guide recipients online to register for entry to the attraction.</p>
<p>Mark Hassan-Ali, new business manager at Burgopak says: “The slider pack design was a perfect fit for the TirolBerg invitations – not only did it allow a detailed message to be sent out, but it also helped to increase brand identity and make the attraction appear more edgy and exclusive.”</p>

<p>Graphics were supplied by the Tirol Tourist Board, using Austria’s official colours of red, white and black. Burgopak, a leading packaging design company based in London, completed both the pack’s structural design and production. The invitations were distributed to guests and partners of Tirol Werbung, including Tirol’s partner destinations St. Anton am Arlberg, Ischgl, Sölden, Kitzbühel and the Seefeld Arena.</p>
<p>Held in an 500 square metre marquee, the 2011 TirolBerg has an entirely new design, with room for 300 visitors. For the first time ever this year, an additional fan area filled with Tirolean specialties and &#8220;Gemütlichkeit&#8221;. It has been installed in front of the TirolBerg, allowing extra fans to experience the Skiing World Championships at the gateway to the Tirol. <p>Showcasing premium print and production quality, Burgopak&#8217;s packaging  design presents the Formula One 2010 Global Broadcast Report in a  unique format that highlights the dedication of Formula One Management  to providing the highest quality of report to their global associates.</p>
<p>In a simple and elegant manner, the Formula One branded CD slides  out from the left of the pack as the opening tab is pulled from the  right. Utilising Burgopak&#8217;s patented sliding mechanism, the design  features silver hot press foil detail on the front cover.</p>
